Speaking and event hosting
Kevyn Burger graciously agreed to host a breast cancer program that included screening an award winning documentary, Dear Talula. Kevyn made the program. Our program turnout was very high, due in large part to Kevyn’s celebrity status. Kevyn also helped us determine the appropriate format which was to first have her interview the film maker and star, and then moderate the distinguished panel.
Kevyn’s interview of Lori Benson was extraordinary, it was very moving and powerful. Kevyn also did a great job moderating the panel. She got all of the salient points out, kept the conversation moving, and kept the audience thoroughly engaged. This program has been so successful that we have taken the format and our replicating it in cities across the country. This tremendous success was due in large part to Kevyn Burger, we cannot thank her enough.

Kevyn Burger was the Master of Ceremonies for The Big Event, the annual fundraiser for the Perpich Foundation, supporting the Perpich Center for Arts Education. She handled the audience, the script and the acts, which included several dozen student artists. She was so quick on her feet with ad libs, which created a great experience for the audience. Her comments were both meaningful and funny! She was the best glue a show could ask for!

Our first Power of the Purse fundraising event was in February of 2009. It sold out the week before the event in part because Kevyn was the speaker. Her name recognition was high and her reputation for fun and passion for life made people want to come. We were not disappointed, Kevyn was able to draw on our agency’s mission and her life experience to make a compelling, inspirational and delightful presentation.

Kevyn Burger was a featured speaker for Edina’s Center for Adult Education Look Who’s Talking series. Her topic was “Committing the Seven Deadly Sins and Telling the Tale.” Great topic–great speaker. Kevyn is pleasant, poised and energetic. You will love her vitality. She’s dynamic!

I had the distinct pleasure of inviting Kevyn to speak to my Professional Women in Building Council. An empowering and insightful woman, Kevyn shared her life experience in the media spotlight and her battle with breast cancer. Our group of professional women in business found Kevyn to be down to earth and a truly seasoned professional. Many have described that talking with Kevyn is like having coffee with your best friend, it truly is. Kevyn combines an engaging charisma, memorable stories, delightful humor, and her smile is sure to light up any room.

Kevyn Burger came to the rescue! Kevyn was our Mistress of Ceremonies and Auctioneer at the Benefit for Innocence, our annual fundraiser. She was prepared, funny, and able to “control” our large audience. Kevyn was able to move the program along and keep everyone on track. Thank you, Kevyn!

Kevyn spoke to our group of 80 women, who varied in age from 30 to 70 years. She was charming, humorous, candid and grounded in her insights, thoughts and opinions. The evening was a hit and I would highly recommend her as a speaker at your next event.
